Karate Club – Variety Show Fund Raiser for JETA

Tuesday 5th July 2011 regular training will be cancelled as the Karate Club will be supporting FIODA by providing the refreshments at the Variety Show in the town hall. All money raised will go towards the Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Appeal (JETA).

Refreshment stall: All hands on deck please to help staff this busy stall. KAren will purchase (sale or return) water, cartons of juice and some fizzy cans, and will provide tea, coffee, herbal tea, sugar and milk.

We need help with some home baking please. i.e. cakes, tray bakes, sausage rolls or cup cakes. Or anything else tasty.

We need to be at the town hall by 6.15pm to set up the stall. We can sell goods before the show, at the interval and after the performance. We will also be providing a service to the FIODA staff and performers. Preferably an adult or senior student can provide this service, as keeping track of who has purchased what refreshments and making sure that the goods purchased get to the right person is not a task for the faint hearted. The more helpers we have, the lighter the work. We appreciate that young children may need to go home early. If you can help please let Karen know by completing the form on the News page.

If you are a Club member and have an idea for a fundraising event please contact a Committee Member.

Falkland Islands Karate Club would like to thank the following organisations for sponsorship and donations:
